Every puppy’s journey should be about more than just basic obedience. Here at Yellow Brick Road Animal Behavior, we believe it’s about building confidence, focus, resilience, and a strong bond with their owner. It’s about allowing them to experience the feeling of safety in order to create a safe, happy and healthy companion. Our themed, cumulative packages guide puppies through the foundational skills they need to thrive at home, in the world, and in life as well-adjusted adult dogs.
Through positive reinforcement, real-world experiences and hands-on guidance, we help puppies learn:
Calm, confident responses to new experiences
Healthy social skills
Emotional-regulation, focus, and problem-solving skills
Safety and trust in the relationships closest to them (you!) built on compassion and clear communication
In order for these things to happen, we also have to help their guardians learn to better understand them, and help them navigate life in a way that empowers at both ends of the leash.
Each higher tier includes everything from the earlier tiers plus more advanced skills and experiences.

Early foundations & orientation - (First steps on your new adventure)

This package gives your puppy the ability to thrive at home, and you the resolve to navigate the most common pitfalls of early puppyhood before they become bigger issues. This sets the stage for everything that follows.

Emotional safety & connection - (Avoid needing an oil can)
Focus:
bonding
complex communication
trust
reading your puppy’s body language
cooperative care basics.
It includes everything from Munchkinland, plus new connection-focused exercises that help your puppy and you communicate clearly, preventing relationship break-downs later on. This critical aspect of guardianship is where a lot of prevention happens, which is the best practice.
Total Package: $450 Includes: 5 sessions (45 minutes each)

🧠Brave & Brilliant
Courage & problem solving - (Fostering your puppy’s unique genius)
Focus:
confidence-building
basic manners
emotional regulation
impulse control
It includes all skills from Munchkinland and Heart & Harmony, plus new skills you can use as your puppy travels through various stages of development.
Helping your puppy learn to be calm while out in the fast-paced and sometimes overwhelming world is one of the best gifts you can give them and yourself. This shapes you and your puppy’s future together.
Total Package: $720 Includes: 8 sessions (45 minutes each)

Polishing skills & building good habits- (We’re off to see the wizard)
Focus:
advanced social skills
manners
navigating real-world challenges.
Includes all previous tiers and more, including outings for practice. Outings highlight: Two guided outings give owners hands-on coaching in navigating stimulating, exciting environments — full of sights, sounds, and smells. Puppies learn to cope confidently with distractions and excitement, while owners learn how to support them calmly and effectively.
Total Package: $1080 Includes: 12 sessions: 10 sessions + 2 Outings (45 minutes each)
